1.Cesar Chavez was a citizen of the United States. He was born in Yuma , Arizona.
2.They became migrant workers because they lost their farm in the Great Depression.

3.Cesar attended to more than 30 elementary and middle schools.

4.The CSO is Community Service Organization. He helped its members from immigration and tax problems. Cesar quit the CSO because he joined another organization called the National Farmworkers Association (NFWA).

5. The thing they got in common is that they boycott. Cesar would get volunteers and pay them $5 for room and board a week. He wanted to help the farmworkers by not letting people buy grapes.
6. Braceros were Mexicans laborers permitted to enter the United States and work for a limited period of time. They preffered to hire them because it would be better for farmers when there was a shortage of domestic farmhands.
7. Other than Latinos Filipinos helped achieve equality for minority farm workers.
8. The crop the UFWA boycotted was for grapes. It was the best successful boycott in American history.
9. His granpa mentioned Martin luther king jr because He gave them hope and let them know they could be proud of theyre work. That they could have justice like all other people.
10. How did the grandpa and his grandchild celebrate César Chávez's birthday?By remembering him and talking about him.

1a. Explain George's perspective for what he did to Lennie.

I think George's perspective was good because if he didn't kill Lennie, Curley would have

killed Lennie slowly so he could suffer. George killed Lennie because it was the best thing to do .

George killed him with a Luger he shot him in the back of his head.

1b. Do you think that was the best thing to do for Lennie?

I think that was the best thing to do for Lennie because if he didn't get killed he would have been

getting in trouble for killing Curley's wife. Also he could have gone to jail for killing Curley's wife.

Or either way he would have got killed worst by Curley. So that was the best thing to do for

Lennie.

2a. The father was having a hard time winning an intense 10-year legal battle to allow his

daughter's feeding tubes to be removed. So he removed them because he didn't want her to

suffer anymore so he pulled the plugs on his daughter. His daughter had been in a coma after an

accident. So that's what made Beppino Englaro kill his daughter.

2b. I agree with the father's actions because she was in a coma for 17 years and couldn't do

anything just be in the hospital. So he was probably paying a lot of money for her but she wasnt't

getting any better so that's why he pulled the plugs on her. I would do also lose patience of her

being in the hospital and not getting better so I would let her die.

3a. Mr. Lupoe was paranoid because he lost his job and probably thoght that he was going to be

poor. He probably thought that he wasn't going to be able to support his family. So the only way

was to kill his family and himself. So then he left a letter to tell the police his situation and why

he killed his family.

3b. The parents should have given there children to foster homes. Or they could have gone with

some relatives that live near by to them. So they wouldn't kill themselves and they could have

found a job for temporary until they could afford to rent an apartment or a house.

4. I think that euthanasia was a good idea for the situation that George was in. He killed Lennie

so he could have a better life by himself and not having nobody to slow him down or annoy him.

Also Lennie had to die either way because he was going to get killed by curley but badly so he

could suffer. It was also the best thing to do because Lennie kept killing animals and killed

Curley's wife. So that's why I agree with wat George did to Lennie.

1. No it wasn't ok because they might get fire if the boss finds out that they fought. Also its a good thing so Lennie would stand up for hiself and not let Curley punk on him. So then Curley won't say bad things about him anymore.

2. I think that Lennie should continue to be working because he wouldn't live without George. They both need each other to do the work because Lennie is strong as a bull and and could carry heavy stuff and George is very smart. So they both supprt each other when they need it.

3.I think they won't listen to him for being a jerk to Lennie. Also they might think he is going to do the same thing to them that he did to Lennie. He wouldn't get any respect for mistreating his workers.

4. I think it is not ok because if Curley finds out he is going to get mad and want to pick up another fight with the workers. Also if Curley finds out it might mess up their relationship. so thats what I think of Curley's wife flirting with the workers.

Lord Of The Flies

I had chosen Katt Williams because he is a good leader. Katt Wililams is also smart and very short like 5'6. Another thing that Katt Williams has in common with Ralph is that they both are mature and caring for others. Thats why I had chosen Katt Williams as Ralph.

I chose Kimbo slice to be Jack because he is vicious, strong and he is a control freak. He is also power crazy and he is mean to the people he fighects. Thats why Kimbo Slice is Jack for me.

I picked Peter Griffin as piggy because he is fat and wears spectacles like piggy. I also chosed Peter Griffin because he is slow (physically).

Nate Robinson is like simon because he is short but he is smart and he also has power for a little guy. He is also quiet when he plays and he is alone because he is the only good one in that team.
I chosed The Joker as Roger because he is insane and mean. I also picked him because he is evil , strong , and cold blooded.

2.What I see here is how a place looks after the bomb of Hiroshima. I also see that a lot of people are dead because of that bomb. I feel sad because of all those people who died. I aslo feel sorry for them because if they lived they were probably homeless for the rest of their lives.

3. What I see here is a guy that got hurt because of the Hiroshima bomb. I also see that he has a lot of scars on his back because of the bomb. What i feel is bad for this guy because he might be in a lot of pain. I also feel sad because he might die because of the bomb.

Views On Abortion

1. What is your stance on abortion? Give three reasons why (this is your own thoughts). Explain clearly and use a lot of detail. - 5 points
My stance on abortion is pro-choice because I believe that women should do whatever they want with their own body. I also believe that because what if she didnt want to get pregnant and was an accident. Also i think that abortion is sad for some people but the women should do whatever they want because is their body.

2. Copy/paste evidence that supports that supports your views. Make sure you use quotation marks (" ") because these are NOT your words. - 3 points
"We believe in a woman's right to control her body, and she deserves this right no matter where she lives, even if she's still living inside her mother's womb."

3. Explain the quote you chose for number 2 in your own words. You can explain it in the following ways: relate it to something that happened in your life or someone else's, explain why you agree with the statement, explain it to the reader with more detail in case the reader might not understand the quote, or give the reader a hypothetical situation in which the quote plays out. (Whichever why you decide to explain your quote, you should have at least 3 sentences to be thorough) - 6 points
I chosed this quote because it tells people what I think about abortion like I said women should do whatever they want with their own body. I also chosed it because i believe in pro-chioce and not pro-life. This quote also explains everything that pro-choice believes in.
